Stop talking. SHOW ME!

It’s one thing to listen to someone describe how to do something, but it’s quite another to have them do it in front of you and pause at every step to explain:

  • What they’re about to do.
  • Why they’re about to do it.
  • And then to unpack the result from those actions after they’ve done them.

This kind of learning experience is vastly different from a traditional classroom and it yields massively different results as well.

So here’s why I did this…

Over the years, I’ve had literally hundreds of people say something like this to me…

“There are two reasons that I haven’t started a business around a great idea that I have. First, I don’t have the money. Second, even if I did have the money, I wouldn’t know what to do with it and the steps I need to take and in what order.”

Both are genuine road blocks and both are good reasons not to begin the business of your dreams.

That being said, both are completely solvable.

To prove it, I decided to launch a business idea from scratch, using none of my own money, and to document the entire process from idea to launch.

You will be the fly-on-the wall in REAL meetings and you get the ACTUAL documents and emails that made it happen

Oh! And you’ll also get access to REAL business coaching too…

When I first had this idea I said to my team,

“I want to give them everything. No bullshit. No hiding. EVERYTHING.”

So here’s what we did…

Not only did we record every Zoom meeting with suppliers, business partners and coders (it’s a software company), but we cataloged every email, we kept every resource that we accessed, and we even recorded me writing the technology briefs and investor presentations from scratch in PowerPoint.

You literally watch me do the work and I made short videos either side of those work-sessions explaining what I was about to do and why.

As if that wasn’t awesome enough, we also partnered with three first-time entrepreneurs and gave them equity in the company to run the business long-term so that we wouldn’t have to. What this means for you is that me and some of my inner-circle of entrepreneurs have been coaching these guys for months via Zoom calls, and you’ll get access to all of those sessions too.

In other words, you’ll not only get to see us build the business but you’ll get the exact same business mentoring that we gave to three young entrepreneurs who have never built or run a software business in their lives.

Here’s just some examples…

(links not live – you have to buy the course to get access!!!)

This is me briefing a professional software designer based in Israel that we hired on UpWork who designed the dashboard for our software. And yes, we also recorded me writing the UpWork job ad and responding to all of the applications:

This is a 27 minute REAL video of me working with two of our developers in Ukraine who built the software application:

As you can see, this course is NOT highly-produced, studio-perfect footage. It’s the gritty, REAL shit that it actually takes to get it done.

Did you say
“none of your own money”?

Yes – sort of…I spent about $4,500 upfront on things like:
  • A logo design ($600)
  • A small amount of graphic design to show investors and business partners how my idea worked ($500)
  • Incorporating a company ($2,000)
  • Other incidental stuff (about $1,500)

I then raised money from investors and I was reimbursed for those expenses at that time. So I did advance the company money for a short time but I had no money at all long before the business was launched.

In part-2 of the course (coming soon):

  • I show you how I made the investor pitch deck (recorded from scratch in PowerPoint/Keynote)
  • I give you the file so you can use it as a template for your own fund raising
  • I give you all of the emails that we sent to get investor interest
  • I show you how we setup the investor registration pages online
  • I recorded the investor presentation (a Zoom call)
  • I show you how I priced the offer and why
  • I show you how much equity we gave to the three young entrepreneurs and to the investors
  • I explain to you how to raise capital legally (in Australia) for non-accredited investors (this is what I used to do many years ago for a living)

Part-1 of this 3-part program is available right now, but it’s closing soon!

This course is broken into 3 parts and only part-1 is available now. If you enjoy it, you will be able to purchase part-2 as soon as it’s ready. By doing this, we have been able to break the cost down into three phases and you get to make sure that you love it before committing to the entire program.

Part 1

From idea to investor ready (OPEN NOW)

Part 2

Raising the money and building the software. (Coming soon)

Part 3

Launching the company (Coming soon)

Let me explain exactly what’s in Part-1…

Part-1 starts with me explaining the basics of my software idea to you. At that point, nobody had been hired and I didn’t even know if what I wanted to do was technically possible. So my next step was to contact a software development firm and make a meeting to see what they thought.

As you know, this is not my first rodeo so I reached out to a team that I have worked with previously on two other software applications that are now built. Your first Zoom call recording is with me and those guys, fleshing out what I had in mind. Like I said, you are right there from day 1 – even before me knowing if my idea was “code-able”.

So Part-1 of the course includes:

  • All of the emails between myself and the developers to get from day 1 to a finished quote for the software (52 emails over 18 days).
  • All of the Zoom meetings between myself and the development team
  • All of us validating the idea itself
  • Me building crude mockups of what I had in mind (I used PowerPoint/Keynote to do this).
  • Me writing design briefs for the logo and some other design work to show stakeholders what I wanted to build professionally.
  • Me posting job-ads on UpWork to find software User Interface (UI) designers
  • Me launching and managing a logo design contest on a crowdsourced design website (I got 207 logo designs)
  • Me interviewing software UI software designers
  • Me reviewing UI designers work
  • The exact emails I wrote (and received back) from future distribution partners for the software to test their interest and gauge how good a fit my solution would be for their users
  • Me showing you how to produce world-class collaterals (like animated videos) to showcase your future software to partners and investors long before it’s built for next-to-nothing.
  • Me and my business partner coaching the three first-time founders on how to build a great company.
  • Me appointing the development firm to start the software build

Only USD $797 for each part…

By now, you’ll know if this is for you. You’ll feel it in your gut. A quiet (or perhaps not-so-quiet) voice inside that says, “YES! This is is what I’ve been waiting for.” If you’ve read this far and you don’t feel that yet, move on. Seriously, this is not for you.

I produced this program in the way I have because it’s the course format that I myself have always craved. Like I said at the start, “Stop talking! SHOW ME!” That’s what we’ve built here.

Once it’s closed it’s gone and you’ll have to wait…

We only open this program a few times a year because we want to make sure that we can support each intake appropriately and that all students are roughly at the same stage at the same time. For that reason, we are closing this intake at the time and date shown below:

I hate to be a dick but if you miss this deadline, you WILL have to wait.

No exceptions.

I hope you’ve enjoyed learning about this awesome program and I can’t wait to teach you more once you join us inside the course.

Our team is standing by and we can’t wait to work with you in a world where not having money or not knowing what to do next is no longer an issue for you.

Here’s to your success!

P.S. A lot of people ask me, “Why software?” The answer is simple. Tech/Software companies have all of the following benefits:

  • They can be started small as a “side-hustle”
  • They often earn money 24/7 globally. Think global. A small piece of a massive market works fine
  • They usually have recurring monthly/annual income. Imagine waking up each month with income already booked in!
  • Are extremely attractive to investors. Really important if you don’t have money of your own
  • Are among the most valuable businesses you can build (relative to profit). Equity is what makes you rich long term
