I’m just going say this straight…

The last 18 months have been some of the toughest in my business career.

Just 7-days out from what would have been our largest live event ever, with more than 2,500 delegates coming from 6 countries around the world, our Prime Minister announced, “No public gatherings of more than 500 people.”

What followed, was a relentless stream of issues that drained myself, Joe and the entire team to well-past empty status.

It was hard.

But here’s the thing…
As an established company, we were in a much better position to weather the storm than many other small businesses around the world, including many people from within our own community who were just trying to make their first dollar on Amazon.

The last 18 months have been extremely challenging for Amazon sellers.

– Supply chains have been disrupted
– Shipping costs have skyrocketed
– Amazon only allowed essential products for several months

On top of all that, we have been forced into isolation, separated from the very thing we need to survive the soul-challenging journey that is entrepreneurship – COMMUNITY!

With that being said, I have two words for you…

You’re Just One Product Away…

Live events will always be very important to me because they are what stopped me from quitting on what turned out to be the most life changing business I’ve ever owned – my Amazon FBA business.

I spent the first 6 months of my Amazon journey struggling. I was living in Los Angeles and I knew hardly anyone. I had bought an online course but that had taken me only so far.

I thought I had a great product. The market was not too competitive. My product was visually differentiated. My price wasn’t too high. The branding and packaging was on point.

So why was I only selling 3 or 4 a week (at $97) when I should have been selling 3 or 4 a day?

I spent every night trying to figure it out for months (after working all day in my animation business) before eventually announcing to my friends and family on Facebook, “I’m giving up on Amazon. It’s over.”

Yes. I actually quit Amazon.

One of my mates saw that post and asked me to join him at a live Amazon event that was happening in Las Vegas later that month. I was demoralised but I decided to go anyway.

Lucky I did because in one session at that live event, one Amazon seller said one thing that changed everything for me. I discovered the one thing that I had missed and everything changed.

Within 90-days, my struggling product that was doing about $1,200 per month in sales, grew to doing $50,000/month and I never looked back.

That’s the power of live events! When you get real people, each of whom have real experience doing what you’re trying to do, magic happens. You never know when that last tumbler in the lock to massive success will fall into place for you.

In this session, you will hear from me, as well as two surprise guests who will re-ignite your passion for Amazon and show you exactly where the market and opportunity on Amazon is NOW.

One of the most popular parts of all prior Platinum events has been when Adam drills into the details of a particular skill set that has been mastered by student-sellers.
As you’ll see below, these session will range in subject matter from specialising in selling oversized items, to people who have actually sold their Amazon businesses, to others that are using video ads incredibly effectively across the marketplace to drive their sales in ways that most sellers didn’t know is even possible. Adam has an uncanny ability to ask the exact right questions that distill the actionable steps behind someone’s strong points so that everyone listening can apply what they learn as soon as they get back to their hotel room with their lap top! Session 3 is all about getting your questions answered directly by the experts. Not across a room of hundreds, but up close and personal! Session #4 – Awards & Rhino Training

To close out Day 2, we are going to run a Platinum Awards Ceremony where we recognise everyone from within Platinum who has won an award since our last live event way back in 2019!
Yes, these people have received their physical award in the mail already, and they’ve been recognised on our Virtual summits, but nothing is quite like standing in a room full of your peers as they raise-the-roof to acknowledge your outstanding efforts as an entrepreneur. So get ready to give these people some love!
Following that, Adam & Joe will be bringing the day home strong with some no bullshit, hardcore entrepreneurship training. They’ll be openly discussing both their wins and losses over the last 2 years specifically, ranging from losing almost $1M in a single deal, to getting VC funding for ZonGuru, to dealing with the challenges of Covid and what they learned as entrepreneurs when stretched beyond belief through that phase of their business lives.
This closing session promises to be one hell-of-a session that will fortify your resolve and leave you armed with a whole host of skills and a new mindset to weather any storm.

Day 2- Time To Party

The last day of Platinum Live is all about getting social and building friendships. Over the years with Platinum, these kinds of opportunities have taken place in all kinds of places ranging from $10M boats on Sydney Harbor to parties on private islands in Queensland. This time around though, the venue will not be known until ticket sales have commenced as it depends on numbers.

It will either be on a very large private boat called “The Yot Club” (sub 350 attendees), or it will be in a beautiful outdoor space with entertainment, catering and all the trimmings of a proper Reliable Education event. No matter what, it is going to be a great day that will be the genesis of a few Reliable stories we are sure!

What about Covid

In 2021, Covid and the risk of state or national lockdowns is a very real issue that affects every live event in world these days. So here’s how this will work. Excluding our staff’s wages to plan and execute this event for months in advance, the event itself will cost a minimum of just over $300,000. As this is a not-for-profit event we are structuring this event such that the risk is shared equally between all attendees, rather than Reliable assuming the entire risk alone. Think of it this way….
This is your event and you’re investing in it by way of purchasing a ticket. As an investor, there are risks but your risk is limited to the cost of a single ticket. So here is a simple table that shows the risk triggers if you buy a ticket and invest in this event:

Venue & Accommodations

When is it?

Pre-registration starts on Friday, November 12th but the event officially starts on Saturday November 13th and it finishes on Sunday November 14th at 4 pm.

Where is it?

The event is being held at the Star Hotel in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast of Australia.

Is there a room block (discounted rooms there)?
Yes. We strongly recommend that you stay at the Star which is where the event is taking place. The hotel is fantastic and we have secured an extremely attractive rate, far below the standard price. It will also make getting to and from the sessions very easy and networking opportunities will abound in and around the venue.Rooms are limited so book quickly. Can I bring my partner? If yes, is there a discount for the second ticket?
Yes, you can bring your partner. This event is not being run at a profit, therefore there are no discounted tickets for this event.
Can I just turn up and buy a ticket on the day?
No. This event is only open to members of Platinum Partners and their life partner. Due to Covid restrictions, all attendees must be registered well in advance as seats are assigned for Covid tracing purposes.

General Questions

Will there be an option to buy the Livestream rather than attending in person?
At this stage we are only going to make this available to Platinum Partners who live outside of Australia or New Zealand. Please see the risk table above for instances of when that will change for people living in Australia or New Zealand.
Will we get the recordings of the event?
Our overseas live-streamers (who are paying the same price as the in person attendees) will get the recordings of every session, including the recordings of every expert breakout session, included in their livestream ticket price. For everyone else, the recordings will be available at a cost of $200. This is to offset the cost of hiring the team to record and edit the entire day, including 8 breakout sessions, which is not factored into our $300K minimum spend budget.
Will I get to meet Adam?
Yes! Adam will be at the event the whole time and available for photos, chats etc. Adam is not accepting pre-booked 1:1 meetings during the event though.
Is the event catered?
Yes! We will provide food through Saturday and during the Sunday social event.
I have dietary needs. Can you accommodate them?
Yes! On the ticketing page (where you buy your tickets) you will be asked about these. Gluten free. Dairy free. Vegetarian. All that good stuff will be catered for.
Will the speakers be there in person or are they attending via Zoom or video?
We are hoping that all except one speaker will be there in person, however Covid creates all kinds of variables.
How many people will be at the event?
We are expecting between 400-500 people to be at this event.
Are we allowed to record the event?
No recording or live-streaming other than doing short posts to your social media is allowed. However, we do encourage you to take photos!


What covid protocols will be in place?
We will follow the State and Hotel Guidelines/Regulations at the time of the event. More information will be provided as appropriate.
Are you going to be enforcing a mask policy?
We will be following State/City/Hotel guidelines for masks and overall safety. Our ability to host this event will be determined by following the rules and regulations at the time of the event.
Can you tell me what health and safety precautions are going to be in place?
We will continue to analyze and make determination on appropriate precautions. Masks and hand sanitiser will be available. We will also be adhering to Queensland and the hotels policies and guidelines that are in place at the time of the event.
Do I need a Vaccine to attend?
We will be following Government guidelines and regulations, however at this time, we doubt that Australians will need to be vaccinated to attend an event like this. That being said, any health and safety related questions are subject to change.
